Afternoon Session: Throwing with Unha Hill

Ready to level up your throwing skills?

Ready to level up your throwing skills? This session focuses on refining your technique and building confidence on the wheel. Maybe you’ve been throwing mugs and want to try vases—or you’re comfortable with meal-sized bowls and want to move on to serving or fruit bowls. Unha will kick things off with a demo, then provide hands-on guidance, troubleshooting, and tailored techniques to help you develop more control, consistency, and fluidity in your forms. Whether you’re looking to refine your everyday pieces or challenge yourself with something a little bigger, this workshop is for you.

*Any TPC members who attend this session will have the opportunity to trim and glaze the work they throw in this workshop. Non-members can choose to take their work home or keep 1-2 pieces at the studio that we will clear glaze and fire for you.

All finished work will be ready for pickup in 4-5 weeks. 

House Rules:

• All courses are for adults (18+) unless otherwise stated
• We require a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice to reschedule your spot — please reach out
• Missed courses or classes cannot be refunded or credited 
• We may photograph student work for promotional use — but we value and respect your privacy and comfort above all else
• Clean up and safety are essential to every potters' practice; the last 25 minutes of class are for cleaning up our joyful mess
