I've never made pottery, where do I start?

We got you! Our beginner classes: Fundamentals of Pottery, Intro to the Wheel, and Intro to Hand Building are the perfect place to start. They're fun, relaxed, and totally beginner-friendly. No pressure, no perfection, just a welcoming space to learn, and get your hands dirty. Feeling a bit hesitant to commit? We also offer 2-hour taster sessions (although we think you'll quickly be hooked either way). Check out our Classes page for detailed class descriptions.

Can you tell me more about your membership opportunities?

Memberships are for those who already have some experience and want regular access to the studio outside of class time. It's a great option for hobby potters who are looking for a creative home base to keep learning, experimenting, and making at their own pace. Members get open studio hours, shelf space, access to tools and equipment. Head to our Membership page for all the details, including pricing and what's included.

Is there parking available?

We don't have on-site parking, but our closest main intersection is Dundas and Dufferin. There are a lot of GreenP parking options along Dundas, plus some free street parking on Dufferin and nearby residential streets. Give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot, but it's usually not too tricky! Our location is also easily accessible by public transit if you'd like to skip the hassle of parking in the city altogether.

Are you available for private events?

Yes, we'd love to host your private event! Whether it's a corporate or team event, birthday party, or something totally unique, we'd be excited to collaborate and make it special. Just fill out our contact form with your idea and preferred date, and we'll get back to you to work out the details. Due to the structure of our business, the more notice we have the easier it will be to secure your requested date.

I'm interested in working for The Pottery Club. How can I find out about hiring opportunities?

We're looking for instructors who are passionate about being part of a creative community and genuinely enjoy teaching and sharing their incredible skills. We prioritize creativity, community, and inclusivity, and if you're the same we'd love to hear from you. You can find our instructor application form here.

How do I gift a class?

First off, you're a 10/10 gift-giver. Well done you. On our gift cards page you'll find the option to gift a full 8-week session, a single taster class or a custom amount that your recipient can put towards a class of their choice.

Are you available for collaboration opportunities?

Yes! We love teaming up with other creatives, local businesses, and community members. If you've got an idea for a collaboration, we'd be excited to hear about it. Reach out through our contact form and let's start the conversation.
