4-week Kid's Wheel Throwing // Monday Afternoons // Nov 10-Dec 1 // $180

Welcome to our kid's wheel throwing class! Held from November 10th to December 1st, 4:15-5:45pm

Course cost: $180 including all clay, glazes, firings, and pottery supplies.

Get ready to get messy and have fun at the wheel! In this four-week class, kids will learn the basics of wheel throwing in a relaxed, hands-on environment. They’ll spend the first three weeks practicing on the pottery wheel, learning how to center, shape, and create their very own bowls, cups, and more. On the last week, we’ll show them how to glaze their work so it’s ready for the kiln and becomes something they can actually use at home.

What to Expect:

• Week 1: Demos + getting to know the wheel, centering clay, and making first small forms

• Week 2: Practice time! More bowls, cups, and wheel fun

• Week 3: Trimming and adding finishing touches like handles or feet

• Week 4: Glazing day! Learn how to decorate and finish your pottery

Each student receives white stoneware clay, access to all studio glazes, and firing is included.

No experience needed—just curiosity and creativity!

All finished work will be ready for pickup in 3–4 weeks.

House Rules:

• All kids classes are for ages 10-13. Please reach out if you'd like to request an exception for anyone under this age.
• We require a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice to reschedule your spot—please reach out
• Missed courses or classes cannot be refunded or credited
• We may photograph student work for promotional use—but we value and respect your privacy and comfort above all else
• Clean up and safety are essential to every potters' practice; the last 25 minutes of class are for cleaning up our joyful mess

** We reserve the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. In such cases, participants will have the option to transfer to another available class or receive a full refund.
