Welcome to All Levels Wheel Throwing! Held from July 9th to July 30th, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Course cost: $290 includes clay, glazes, firings, and pottery supplies.

Get ready to get your hands on the wheel.

This six-week class is an introduction to wheel throwing, designed for all levels. Whether it’s your first time or you’re returning and looking for more practice, this is a space to build skills, get comfortable, and spend time working with clay.

You’ll spend time on the wheel each week developing your practice at your own pace. If you’re newer, we’ll focus on building a strong foundation—centering, pulling, and shaping. If you’ve been on the wheel before, this is a chance to refine your forms, work a little bigger, and explore more advanced techniques like throwing off the hump, marbling with multiple clay bodies, or creating lidded pieces.

In the final session, we’ll come together for glazing—learning how to finish your work and bring your pieces to life.

One sleeve of clay is included, along with access to our studio glazes, tools, and kiln firings.

No experience is needed. We’ll meet you where you’re at and support you in making work you feel good about.

What to Expect:

• Demonstrations and guidance on preparing and centering clay, and throwing small forms like bowls and cups
• Time on the wheel to practice and build on skills week to week
• Trimming and refining your pieces, with the option to add handles or small details
• A dedicated glazing session, where your bisque-fired work will be ready to finish using our studio glaze selection

What to Expect:

- Demos, how to prep and center clay, throwing small forms like bowls and cup shapes

- Throwing practice + building on the previous week's wins

- Trimming practice: finesse your forms, attach handles, feet, or other details

- Glazing Days— your bisque-fired pieces will be ready for you to glaze with our     studio glaze selection

All finished work will be ready for pickup in 4-5 weeks. 

House Rules:

• All courses are for adults (18+) unless otherwise stated
• We require a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice to reschedule your spot — please reach out
• Class purchases cannot be refunded
• Missed courses or classes cannot be refunded or credited 
• We may photograph student work for promotional use — but we value and respect your privacy and comfort above all else
• Clean up and safety are essential to every potters' practice; the last 25 minutes of class are for cleaning up our joyful mess
• Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class start time
