Saturday Taster Classes // September // $80

Course cost: $80 per person and $150 for two people (includes clay, glazes, firings, and all supplies)

Curious about pottery but not ready for a multi-week commitment? This one-off class is a straightforward introduction to wheel throwing. You’ll learn the basics: centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping simple forms, all under the guidance of one of our amazing instructors. No previous experience required, and no pressure to make anything “perfect.”

We’ll glaze and fire your best piece in a food-safe finish so you can pick it up a few weeks later. Never want to see it again? No problem. Just let us know when you're done and we'll take care of that, too. It’s equal parts engrossing, messy, and surprisingly satisfying.

House Rules:

• All evening taster classes are for adults (18+) unless otherwise stated
• All morning taster classes welcome anyone 12+ years of age unless otherwise stated
• We require a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice to reschedule your spot — please reach out
• Missed courses or classes cannot be refunded or credited
• We may photograph student work for promotional use — but we value and respect your privacy and comfort above all else
• Clean up and safety are essential to every potters' practice; the last 25 minutes of class are for cleaning up our joyful mess
• Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your class start time

** We reserve the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. In such cases, participants will have the option to transfer to another available class or receive a full refund.
