Join us for a special Sunday at The Pottery Club in collaboration with our friends at Kitten and the Bear. This thoughtfully curated workshop combines the joy of making with the art of tasting. Handbuild your own snacking platter/charcuterie board while enjoying a curated jam and tea tasting from Kitten and the Bear. Sunday, Nov 16th, 11am–2pm. A cozy day of making, tasting, and connecting.

Description: 

During this workshop led by Shayna Stevenson, you’ll create your own snacking and serving platter—the perfect piece for hosting or elevating everyday rituals, whether it’s jam and scones, cheese and crackers, or olives and nuts. We’ll guide you through each step of the process, with the option to also hand-build a small spoon (or two) to accompany your platter. No prior clay experience needed.

Our morning will kick off with tea and scones provided by Kitten and the Bear, a few grazing snacks available throughout, and participants will take home a mini jar of jam when they pick up their finished pottery pieces.

• Fresh herb scone with peach & red pepper jam
• Three baby scones with signature jam pairings
• Tea service featuring Heavenly Cream (black) and a floral herbal selection from Flowrs Tea

Come share tea, treats, and create a piece you’ll keep reaching for at home.

Price: $120 per person | $230 for two

Your ticket includes:

• A guided pottery session where you’ll learn basic handbuilding techniques and make your own platter (plus spoons if time allows)
• A jam and tea tasting experience curated by Kitten and the Bear
• All tools, materials, and firing for your finished pottery piece
• A KATB mini jar of jam to take home with your finished work

Note: Platters will be glazed and fired by our studio staff after the workshop and will be ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks.
