Join us for a witchy summer event in collaboration with our friends Laura Dawe & Grape Witches.

Hosted outdoors in a private west-end setting near Bloor & Dufferin, this intimate evening pairs pottery and painting with a thoughtful selection of natural wines.

We’ll spend the evening painting paints under the guidance of Laura Dawe, sipping gorgeous wines, and settling into the rhythm of a long summer days.

Full location details will be shared closer to the date.

This event will proceed rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, the workshop will be held at our studio.

Description:

Let the palate (of your mouth!) be another canvas! Masterfully paired with ceramics and painting, the Grape Witches will take you on a guided exploration of the senses, sipping and chatting through four natural wines as a way to approach creativity, connect to the present moment & invite a new point of view. Yes, we’ll talk wines, but as a way to explore land, farming and (delicious!) sensation.

Instead of traditional canvases, each guest will receive a bisqued ceramic plate handmade by Shayna Stevenson of The Pottery Club. The talented Laura Dawe will guide you through the process of painting with underglazes. Your finished piece will be clear-glazed and fired by our studio team—a lasting and practical keepsake from a one-of-a-kind evening.

Price: $150 per person | $280 for two people

Your evening includes:

• A guided wine education and tasting with Grape Witches
  

• A handmade bisqued ceramic plate by Shayna Stevenson to paint and keep

• All underglazes, tools, and materials

• Glazing and firing by The Pottery Club team

Note: Painted plates will be glazed and fired by our studio staff after the workshop and will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks.
